Oh gosh, where do I start? The RWA conference was amazing for so many reasons. Primarily, because I get to see all my friends again and meet new ones. Such a thrill. I’ll be doing a little recap this week, while I’m still on the road on book tour.
The thing I’m most proud of is that my former student, Miranda Liasson, won the Golden Heart! Although she credits me with too much influence. She did all the the work, mining for those streaks of gold that turn into a story. All I did was hold the lantern to make her mining go quicker. This is the kind of student I live to serve. One who is eager and persistent and hard working. One who will go back to the drawing board if things aren’t working. One who will never, ever give up.
Congrats, Miranda, you so deserve all your success and so much more!
